Vogue’s NFT drop celebrates body positivity in the metaverse
Vogue has launched an NFT collection in Singapore featuring artworks that challenge cultural, racial and gender stereotypes in fashion.
The 10 artworks are available in limited editions of 50 / Vogue
The 10 artworks in the collection, called ‘Every Body,’ are created by KeiKen, CryptoZR (Liu Jiaying), Owo Animate, Suzy Q and Wu Ziyang. The artists have contributed two artworks each to the collection.
“As part of the Vogue Values – a statement of principles, endorsed by all Vogue editors, that includes championing creativity, instilling optimism and standing for diversity – all 28 editions of Vogue united under the theme of ‘Every Body’ for March to celebrate greater representation in fashion,” said Norman Tan, editor-in-chief of Vogue Singapore.
“For Vogue Singapore that includes spotlighting fashion’s role in web3 and what representation of ‘Every Body’ looks like in the metaverse through the lens of digital creatives.”
The 10 artworks are available in limited editions of 50, with some pieces featuring unlockable content that the buyer will be able to utilize. They will be available on OpenSea via Vogue Singapore.
