Sky’s latest ad campaign is music to the ears of those with a disdain for clutter as the broadcaster showcases its first television with built-in Sky services.

Channeling a full orchestra to showcase its audiovisual capabilities, the promotion highlights how you don’t need the paraphernalia of an instrumental ensemble in your home when you have six speakers with 360° Dolby Atmos sound built-in.

Devised by creative agency We Are Social, the campaign showcases the delight and surprise of an audience treated to a performance like no other by the English National Opera Orchestra, in which each musician is represented by a dedicated Sky Glass TV, leaving conductor Carolyn Kuan alone on stage.

Sunny Bhurji, marketing director at Sky, said: “It’s not every day you get to witness a TV orchestra. It’s also not every day that you get a TV with as many sound credentials built-in as Sky Glass, so we wanted to create something truly extraordinary that would ultimately put that to the test. We Are Social has successfully demonstrated that experiential thrill you get from hearing the spine-tingling sound of Sky Glass, producing a film that is bound to get people to stop and listen.”

Kelly Cross, business director at We Are Social, added: “Merging the worlds of sound and vision to showcase Sky’s latest offering has been a really exciting creative challenge for us. We wanted to emphasize the sensory thrill that Sky Glass offers, inviting a viewer into the experience alongside those on the screen to create a jaw-dropping moment that leaves you engrossed.”

The film will appear across Sky’s YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter channels.
