Raft of presidents announced for The Drum Awards 2024

As the deadline for entries to The Drum Awards draws closer, jury presidents and vice-presidents can now be revealed.

All categories in the festival have seen a refresh this year and so too have the juries. Each category will have a jury president and vice-president who will lead a panel of experts reviewing the entries from across the globe to select winners for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards.

Some 700 jurors will cover all the categories for this year’s festival, including Advertising, Design, Digital Experience, Social Purpose, Content, Media, PR, B2B, Experiential, Social Media and Agency Business. Brands, including Coca-Cola, The New York Times, Tinder, Lego and Ikea, are already represented in the jury rooms.

This year’s juries will be formed from a combination of the most experienced, leading practitioners and buyers of creative and marketing services, giving a holistic perspective to submissions from those who commission, create and deliver these services.

Collins chief creative officer Brian Collins has been named the jury president for Design and so will be responsible for design categories at this year’s The Drum Awards. He is also a director of the Art Directors Club of New York and brings a wealth of experience from the advertising industry prior to forming his own brand experience, strategy and design company, Collins.

Meanwhile, IBMiX’s global chief design officer, Billy Seabrook, will preside over the Digital Experience disciplines, supported by Diageo global head of digital innovation Benjamin Lickfett, who will act as jury vice-president, while Nike’s global director of social and integrated media, Allie Wassum, will lead the jury for the Social Media categories, supported by Coolr founder Adam Clyne as vice president.

Our Advertising president is chief marketing officer at Ogilvy, Liz Taylor. Taylor leads marketing strategy and brand development, she drives innovative campaigns and enhances client engagement globally.

We can also confirm Julia Monti, senior vice-president of global communications at Mastercard, as our president in the PR category. Monti brings extensive experience in corporate communications, most recently enhancing Mastercard’s brand reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Supporting Monti as vice president in the PR category is Indy Selvarajah who is chief creative officer for global markets at leading PR agency Ketchum.

Our president for the Media category is General Mills global media director Lisa Roebuck, who is leading the company's global media strategy and is an expert in media planning and execution.

Roebuck's vice president is Omnicom Media Group global managing director Vicky Bloyce. She oversees global operations and drives strategic initiatives, ensuring the delivery of innovative media solutions.

NFL director of content partnerships Sam (Fink) Friedman is the Director of Content oversees social partnership strategy and content marketing. She develops programs to engage youth audiences and attract new fans. We're happy to announce her as our president of Content.

We can now name Publicis Media Content and Innovation (PMCI) global content strategy director Emily Hare as vice president in the Content category. Hare oversees all things influencer, social and innovation.

This year's Social Purpose president is global vice president for Dove masterbrand global and North American at Unilever Firdaous El Honsali. She leads global communications and sustainability initiatives, driving impactful campaigns that enhance Dove's brand presence and commitment to social responsibility.

El Honsali will be supported by Understood.org co-president and chief marketing officer Nathan Friedman who leads marketing and strategic initiatives to support people with learning and thinking differences.

Our agency business president is Meet the People global CEO Tim Ringel who has led global marketing initiatives and transformed businesses through innovative strategies over two decades.

In the experiential category we can name MWC Barcelona event director GSMA Fran Cortes as our vice president. Cortes oversees one of the world's largest mobile industry gatherings and bring expertise in strategic planning and execution.

Microsoft's chief marketing officer for EMEA Bonnie Pelosi will be joining us as B2B vice president. With extensive experience in tech marketing, she leads the region’s strategic initiatives, driving brand growth and market penetration.

Entries are open until July 31 and winners will be featured across the Drum’s channels as well as in the the annual awards review. Wins in Creative categories also earn ranking points contributing to The World Creative Rankings.
