From fighting the power to savoring the flavors, the clock-wearing rapper seeks to save Red Lobster from bankruptcy with ‘Flavor Flav’s Faves.’

It’s the collaboration we never knew we needed: Red Lobster and Flavor Flav have teamed up to co-create a menu that’s sure to make seafood lovers shout, “Yeah, boyeee.”

On Monday, the seafood chain announced ‘Flavor Flav’s Faves,’ a limited-edition, signature meal available nationwide that features a curated selection of favorites hand-picked by the former member of Public Enemy. Included in Flavor Flav’s Faves are Maine Lobster Tail, Snow Crab Legs, Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Bacon Mac & Cheese, accompanied by a choice of side. The dish can be ordered at any local Red Lobster restaurant while supplies last.

The announcement comes shortly after the chain’s recent financial challenges. In May, Red Lobster filed for bankruptcy and closed 50 stores amid debts exceeding $1bn. Despite these setbacks, the chain seems to remain resilient, now offering patrons an exclusive taste of Flavor Flav’s seafood preferences.

“As a long-time Red Lobster fan, I’m fired up to bring a little bit of my own flavor to fans with a meal featuring my seafood favorites,” Flavor Flav said. “You gotta get to Red Lobster and give it a try because this signature meal is hype, boy.”

The rapper’s commitment to the brand was evident when he publicly pledged support in June, declaring on X (formerly Twitter), “Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help @redlobster and save the cheddar bay biscuits... ordered the whole menu!!!”

“When you have someone like Flavor Flav who shows their love for a brand by ordering the entire menu, you know there is a lot more fun to be had,” added Sara Bittorf, chief experience officer at Red Lobster. “Flavor Flav’s passion for Red Lobster is unmatched and we’re excited to bring our guests a flavor experience unlike any other.”

Alongside Flavor Flav’s Faves, consumers can indulge in a variety of crab-centric dishes during Crabfest, starting at $20; options include new creations like Creamy Crab Carbonara and Snow Crab & Crab-Topped Steak.
