Nsync’s Joey Fatone & Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean drop iced coffee anthem for Dunkin’
The 90s stars have formed a new music project called the Iced Boys — because when it comes to iced coffee, they ’want it that way.’
If you’ve ever dreamed of a boy band soundtrack to your iced coffee break, your fantasy has just been brewed into reality.
Joey Fatone, the baritone from Nsync, and AJ McLean, a founding member of the Backstreet Boys, have teamed up to create a musical project that’s all about Dunkin’s iced beverages.
Dunkin’ just dropped the music video today for their debut single, Iced Like My Coffee, as part of the coffee and donut chain’s first-ever EP, Iced. This track is a frothy blend of pop nostalgia and coffee culture, and marks McLean and Fatone’s first recorded duet.
The Iced EP, streaming exclusively on Spotify, features a full menu of five tracks inspired by Dunkin’s iced lineup. It opens with an intro track featuring Peyton Mackenzie and August Roads, followed by the catchy title track, Iced Like My Coffee, which stars McLean and Fatone (The Iced Boys), and Zev Prince.
Other tracks include Refresher Season, Spark’d Up and All I Need is An Iced Coffee, all of which feature the stylings of both Peyton Mackenzie and August Roads.
The Iced EP launches a summer full of surprises from The Iced Boys, including an exclusive menu curated by celebrity Chef Nick DiGiovanni, a gaming experience with Twitch’s SypherPK, and a special Dunkin’ merch line designed by Ambush’s Yoon Ahn.
The campaign was created in partnership with Artists Equity, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company.
