Nike and Spotify have erected a mural in Shoreditch to promote the launch of its Make Moves Fund, aimed at getting teenage girls active.
Four teenage girls from the Black Girl Fest network who will be part of the initiative have been painted on the wall.
Launched on World Mental Health Day, the Make Moves Fund will support a number of UK-based organizations that offer dance-based sports classes to girls aged between 10 and 17.
The partnership aims to address the statistic that more than half of girls avoid taking part in sports because of low self-esteem. Investing in music-related sports activities was inspired by the viral TikTok dance trend.
