It does not discriminate between rich or poor, old or young, black or white and people hailing from different race, sects, and religion. Parisar Asha, a 36-year-old not for profit organization working in the field of education has been working towards building sustainable communities by imparting quality education.

FEVICREATE – an All India Art and Craft Contest, Exhibition and Sale with the support of Pidilite Industries Ltd was recently initiated.  The objective was conceived and designed to ignite the empathy and compassion among children to extend their help towards those children who are making their way towards enlightenment and knowledge by battling the economic challenges of life.

This project is an effort to help the children understand their individual social responsibility and lay the stepping stone for them to realize their positions as sensitized and responsible global citizens.

The initiative was rolled out in two phases. The first phase was implemented through a pan India art contest which received over 45000 entries across India.

The entries were judged by a panel of eminent judges from the field of art consisting of Brinda Miller, Prof. Niteen Keny and Geeta Castelino.

The second phase was the culmination of the art contest. In this phase the selected entries consisting of 67 best entries are being showcased in an exclusive art exhibition between 14th November to 18th November’18 at Kala Dalan, Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.

Hence, we launched this All India Art & Craft contest and exhibition for the  children who are the future of our society.

Adding to this Shantanu Bhanja, President of Consumer products division, Pidilite Industries Ltd stated that “We are truly excited to be associated with Parisar Asha. This event also perfectly ties in with our Fevicreate initiative, through which we aim to provide an impetus to new learning methods and offer children a platform to unleash their creativity and showcase their artistic skills. Moreover, through this collaboration, we intend to inculcate a sense of environmental awareness among children and encourage them to become creative global ambassadors for a sustainable tomorrow. I wish the participants all the best and look forward to witnessing some ‘never-seen-before’ ideas and concepts.”

These exhibited artworks are also put for sale and the proceeds will be used to empower the education of the underprivileged children. Hence, this is ideally an initiative by the children for the children who are the beneficiaries as well as the benefactors.
