X’mas Extravaganza at Runwal Elegante adds joy to the season’s festivities

As we were gearing for the X’ Mas festivities to begin, we received an invite to a pre-Christmas Extravaganza which was to be hosted in the plush settings of Runwal’s Elegante – one of the most premium addresses in our neighbourhood.

Runwal Elegante is set in the heart of the western suburbs in Lokhandwala, Andheri West and is the chosen residence by the newsmakers of the city, B-towners especially.

Located next to the buzzing Infinity mall, it is a three-tower statuesque structure which is slowly and steadily gaining popularity as a landmark by itself.

The Christmas Fest was put together by Manisha Deshpande, a dear friend and her team of tireless miracle-makers for their exclusive guests and resident. And as we experienced the evening, we were positively sure they couldn’t have perfected it further.

As we entered the lawns, located at the P6 level, we take in the view of the beautiful lawns which were further decked to suit the festive mood.

The premise has a sprawling lawn which has played host to the iconic Kala Ghoda Arts Festival at the beginning of the year. The first edition of HT Kala Ghoda Arts Festival – Reloaded, was hosted right here… We notice, the focus remains on providing a mixed bag of activities for the entire family, including all age groups, which also showcases some of the best corners of the elegant residential premises.

Runwal Elegante offers some great amenities which include the much talked about clubhouse ‘Club Estella’, which was recently inaugurated by the celebrity couple and television actors ‘Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya & her husband Vivek Dahiya’.

As we strolled around, we hit upon a section of the lawn which offered some excellent variety of cheese from Holland accompanied with an interesting mix of mocktails which were being served alongside.

Kids had a variety of activities to choose from at the Christmas festival with club games including a mock Casino setup which seemed to be hit with the teens.

The younger ones found the zorbing hosted in the pool very interesting, #Jeehan and his friends, seemed quite besotted with it.

There were other interesting games, the highlight being an opportunity to paint a BMW car. Kids and adults together were seen scrawling writings and painting across the car’s body. Needless to say, I joined in with #Jeehan to add my own as I dabbled the name of my upcoming new website ‘SAVVY WORLD’ onto the forefront of the car.’

There were more games, arts corner, tattoo, tarot card reading and F&B counter set across the spacious lawns, allowing the families to enjoy the lovely nip in the air amidst the festivities.

I have to give the very warm hearted Shabana a special mention here, who after a quick round of introduction and exchange of pleasantries, sat us down for a tete-a-tete. By the time we were done, we left awed and amazed at the way the science revealed and even how it gave us some perspective to our hidden queries, It was a goosebump moment indeed.

special mention to the Emcee and Host for the evening Rj Korak who can charm the bird off the tree with his mesmerizing voice, Now living a hectic travel life, it was nice indeed to catch up with him as he compered the show. Rj Korak currently works with the popular Radio Mirchi station and enjoys his interlude with people and places that he explores.

Winding up for the evening, we return with some happy moments well spent with friends and family.
