OTT platforms in India are growing in leaps and bound.  Recently Prime flix a new entrant launched its app amidst much fanfare with celebrities from various Indian film fraternity making their presence felt to wish the team.

The host for the evening Managing Director, Rakesh Bhosle, flanked by his other team members were seen receiving their guests and media with much fervour.  The media launch was followed by cocktails and dinner at a swanky location in western suburbs.

 

Prime flix also unveiled its logo followed by the glimpses of their upcoming  web series which will be streamed on the platform.

The crowd cheered on as the poster and trailer of their web series came alive showcasing upcoming series like Junoon E Isshq, Tharkistan, Beer boys Vodka Girls, Mrs. Savita, Isholholic, Ghostleela, and Bhadkhau.

Prime flix is launched and designed in interest of Indians residing across globe. These global netizens today demand a variety of content ranging from movies, reality shows, sitcoms, short films, travel shows, food shows, stand up comedy and more, which is exactly prime flixwhat Prime flix has to offer,” said Rakesh Bhosle, Managing Director Prime flix.

Kiran Borkar, Director, Prime flix would be handling the films & financial part for the company and has also produced a new Marathi web series ” Bhadkau” for marathi audience specially which is going to get streamed on prime flix OTT platfrom for subscribers.

Sushil Deshpande, another Company Director aspires  to build an empire of creative content for Prime Flix & reach out to Indian audience around the globe with economical packages so  that more and more audience can take the opportunity of viewing the content as per their choice.

According to KPMG Media and Entertainment Report released last year, the Indian OTT market is expected to grow 45 percent to reach ₹13,800 crore by the end of 2023. Considering the average time spent by the Indian subscriber on these platform which range from 60 to 75 minutes there is always scope for more quality content platforms to emerge.

Yet another report by Ernst & Young announces that the number of OTT users in the country will reach 500 million by 2020, making India the second-biggest market after the US.
