• MP Shri Gopal Shetty appeals to Govt for 4 days grant for timeline exemption till midnight during Navratri celebrations  

• Proceeds from the sale of the tickets will be given to charity for helping Cancer victims.

Falguni Pathak popularly known as the #DandiyaQueen is all set to cast her spell at the upcoming Navratri festival organized by ‘Show Glitz Events and Entertainment’ here in Mumbai. For the fifth time in a row it will be hosted at Late Shri Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex, Borivali.

Due to Covid-19 restricitions, for the past two years Navratri festivities were cancelled and the public were left wanting to rejoice and dance with fervour that this festivities calls for. However, now with situation returning to normalcy, the city is abuzz with excitement and people are looking to renew their love for the grand celebrations of Navratri.

Falguni Pathak known for her versatile performance is the undoubted choice during the Navratri seasons and you will find city goers from far and distant making a beeline to catch her live in action. Equally excited our #DandiyaQueen Falguni who just cannot contain her excitement about getting back on the stage and doing what she loves the most, perform and sing at this famed traditional festivities.

In a press conference hosted by the event management team Show Glitz, Falguni Pathak said “With all the trials, tribulations and hard times that each of us have gone through over the past few years, I now pray for Goddess Jagadamba Ma to bless us all with good health, peace and prosperity “. She also expressed a keen desire to see the people in full revelry during this festivity.

Member of Parliament, a well wisher and citizen of the city, Shri Gopal Shetty, was also seen at the gathering. He raved about the enthusiasm of residents of North Mumbai, especially Borivali in celebrating every festival with religious joy and harmony. “This is the reason why Maharashtra’s biggest Navratri is going to be held in Borivali for the fifth time in a row. The present government has removed the restrictions on all the festivals. Now is the time to celebrate the longest dance festival of Hindu culture with full devotion and enthusiasm”, he announced.

Shri Gopal Shetty has appealed to the government to allow a time extension until midnight for these 4 days for Navratri festival. Going forward, he appealed to the State government that the cases against Navratri organisers should be withdrawn just as they were withdrawn against Govinda and Ganesha organizers.  

Santosh Singh, Director, Show Glitz Events & Entertainment, the organizer of this Navratri festival announced “Navratri in Borivali has always been a cause of goodness, this year too, we pledge part of the proceeds from the ticket sales to be given to Cancer victims”.

There is a buzz that Falguni Pathak will soon be releasing a new song for the Navratri celebrations with an upcoming music label.
