Fun ads from Maximum Effort promote Jack in the Box’s new limited-time menu, inspired by the superhero’s love for chimichangas.

Jack in the Box is beckoning Marvel fans to its stores after launching a campaign in celebration of the upcoming summer flick, Deadpool & Wolverine, hitting theatres July 26.

Known for his fondness for chimichangas, Deadpool takes center stage in a series of humorous ads for the brand’s new Mini Chimi Bang Bangs, available this week.

In the hero spot titled ’Celebrity Endorsement,’ viewers are treated to the aftermath of a typical Deadpool and Wolverine brawl at a Jack in the Box restaurant.

Amid the chaos, Deadpool dons a Jack-themed Deadpool head and promotes Jack’s new Mini Chimi Bang Bangs with his signature irreverent wit. While wearing a Jack-themed Deadpool head, he asks, “You think I could be bought!?“

The campaign is the work of Maximum Effort, Ryan Reynolds’ creative agency, and follows the success of the team’s St. Patrick’s Day campaign with Mint Mobile.

Reynolds himself joined the festivities, sharing an exclusive spot today on his social channels that captures the comedic chemistry between Jack and Deadpool over the return of the chain’s Spicy Chicken Strips.

Jack in the Box is also offering a themed, limited-edition menu, featuring the Mini Chimi Bang Bangs. Available in two varieties — Classic with three Southwest Chicken Mini Chimichangas and Sauced & Loaded with additional toppings — the offerings are complemented by Jack’s Fan Fav Box, including five Mini Chimi Bang Bangs alongside curly fries, onion rings and churros, all served with various sauces.
