Chris Hemsworth, Christina Ricci, Ken Jeong, Will Arnett and Auliʻi Cravalho take on the personalities of iconic Supercell game characters in this highly entertaining spot. It’s our favorite today.

For the first time in five years, mobile game developer Supercell has launched a major ad campaign, this time promoting its newest title, Squad Busters.

The campaign by creative studio Uncommon features a star-studded cast: Ken Jeong plays an eccentric chicken, Chris Hemsworth embodies the mighty Barbarian King, Christina Ricci portrays the dark and mysterious Witch, Will Arnett appears as the friendly lumberjack Greg and Auli’i Cravalho takes on the role of the sweet, shotgun-wielding Shelly.

As these characters follow a player throughout their day, they deliver witty one-liners and provide A-list entertainment, with Jeong’s humor standing out in particular. The player’s daily activities are transformed into epic adventures with the help of these fantastical game personas.

The squad then faces another gang whose characters are played by internet sensations, including TikTok superstar Bella Poarch, real-life woodcutter Thoren Bradley, lip-syncing legend Gabriela Moura and YouTube extraordinaire ZHC as Chicken.

It has been a highly anticipated release. The game has achieved 40m pre-registrations, making it the fastest-ever mobile game to reach that milestone.

Supercell’s blend of Hollywood talent and internet fame has created a buzzworthy and memorable ad that captivates gaming and pop culture audiences.
