The fast-paced ad is a middle finger to those who think electric cars are just for the ultra-wealthy or eco-conscious. It's racing in at our top pick today.

Citroën has unveiled a much more affordable electric car model, vowing to make all-electric mobility accessible to everyone. To promote this move, the French brand has released a high-energy ad that underscores the message that environmentally friendly cars shouldn’t be gate-kept by anyone.

The spot is a real mash-up of Bridgerton-style garden parties, the French Revolution and not-so-subtle nods to Marie Antionette’s famous “Let them Eat Cake!” saying.

It’s highly entertaining in a whimsical yet epic way, set against the fast-paced backdrop of David Bowie’s Suffragette City. The ad’s combination of rebellion, style, and iconic music makes it a standout piece of work in a category that is typically fairly monotonous.

The campaign is from ad agency BETC and produced by La Pac in partnership with Stink Paris. It will also include print, radio and social media activations.
